Chemical Name:Isopropylamine salt of N-(phosphonomethyl) glycine
Mol. Formula: C₆H₁₇N₂O₅P

Pure product is Colourless crystals. M.P. 200±20°C. Technical product is white or buff crystal powder. Bulk density of technical product is 0.5 g/cm³. Solubility in water is 1.2%(25°C). Glyphosate IPA appears buff and neutrals liquid. It's readily soluble in water. The density of glyphosate 41% IPA is 1.16 and 62% IPA is 1.24. The solution is mordant to iron and zincing iron. It's uninflammable, unexplosive and has well storing stability at normal temperature.

Toxicity:
Acute oral LD50 for rats 5600 mg/kg. Skin and eye Acute percutaneous LD50 for rabbits is 7000mg/kg. It's Mild eye irritant; non-irritating to skin (rabbits). It's also non-irritating for fishes and aquatics and so on. It does no teratogeny, no saltation and no carcinogenic to animals in experiments.

Uses:
Glyphosate is a non-selective. Non-residual used against annual or biennial herbaceous monocotylendon, herbaceous dicotylendon and perenuial malignant weeds, such as Imperater cylindrical Beuuv, cyperus rotandus linn, etc. Be absorbed by foliage and translocated throughtout plant and very effective on deep-roots perennial species. It is widely used in forest, rubber, mulberry, tea, fruit, sugarcane and etc.
